Success In Business ® – BUSINESS TALK- Unlocking the mysteries, pitfalls and rewards of Federal Contracting for Minority and Women Business Owners

SUCCESS IN BUSINESS® (SIB) is a series of events aimed at connecting small, minority, women and disadvantaged business owners (MWDBE) to contract administrators and decision makers in the private, federal, state and City arenas. The goal is to increase the knowledge of the many contracting opportunities for MWDBE’s and to foster a relaxing and informal forum for relationship and capacity building between MWDBE’s and contracting agencies that attend. In addition, SIB connects MWDBE’s to the many Professional Resource and Certification entities who through workshops and presentations, can develop and sharpen their business, marketing and professional skills.
SUCCESS IN BUSINESS® with the help of collaborative partners, hosts a series of monthly events entitled “Business Talk.” (BT) The first BT took place in October of 2014. During this session, we highlighted our women business owners in our community and gave them a platform for them to share their stories to other business owners. For close to three years, SUCCESS IN BUSINESS® has connected over 3000 MWDBE’s to 30 + Prime contractors and Procurement Agencies as well as secured over $15 Million Dollars’ worth of documented contracts for business owners.
